Fraud Phone Payments
In my life, I have had many scammers try and call me saying I have a payment that needs to be paid. They will call me and tell me I owe them money, and that it needs to be paid as soon as possible. They then say I can make a payment on the phone with them and take care of it ASAP rather than waiting until I get home to login to my account and pay. The purpose of this scam is to either steal someone’s money, their credit card information, or both. With these scams, they commonly target the elderly or young college kids as they are less familiar with the do’s and don’ts of technology / paying bills.

The amount of scam phone calls/texts I’ve received has really gotten out of hand over the past couple years. It’s like you block one number and two more call you back.
